Available from PORTLAND COMMUNIQUE Press (via Lulu), are print editions of Portland Communique as well as a selection of public domain, out-of-print, unavailable, and/or rare material about (or from) Portland history.
Each year of Portland Communique is divided into four volumes, each comprising three months -- with the exception of Year One (Volume I) which includes the first week of this site's existence at the tail end of December, 2002.
These print editions include only the entries for their respective spans of time, and not reader comments or trackback pings, and each entry's hyperlinks have been converted into footnotes for easy reference. All print editions of Portland Communique are 8.5 by 11 inches, perfect bound, with black-and-white printing and color covers.
Credit where credit is due. The process through which Portland Communique content ws rendered into a form ready to upload and publish includes use of the following products: Movable Type (content management), Collect Plugin (footnotes), Combine PDFs, PdfCompress (smaller files), and the Opera Web Browser (proper support for CSS page breaks).
