Shout-Out To Node 236
Plus A Little Incriminating Video
Tomorrow's edition of Christian Science Monitor features a look at wifi which includes, naturally enough, some Portland stuff. Or, rather, it leads with a Personal Telco Project meeting.
We link to it not because of the general Portland connection (there have been countless wifi stories which mention Portland), but because we recently went to a small barbeque at Node 236 to help some friends celebrate the end of finals and a birthday.
So we had to give a quick shout-out to our friend Tom (he of the Node 236), and also to the guy who built the deck you can just barely see part of in the photo which accompanies the article.
Oh, and in the interest of full disclosure, there's also a strange video of us (mov) shot in that house. Be warned, however, that it could be vaguely disturbing, depending upon your sensibilities.
