It Turns Out OPB Is Sort Of Blogging
Our Accidental Discovery Of The Day
Don't ask us how we ran into this, because we're doing research for two or three different items and we have no idea which one of them led to this discovery. It seems that OPB Radio is blogging, and has been since February.
Briefly, their Radio Notes section is published through an installation of Movable Type (the same blogging software we use here), and while it's inconsistent, a number of the items they've posted appear to include reader comment functionality.
In addition to their straight-up archive listing, they have an entire archive category called Blog Report, which seems to be a possibly-aborted attempt to track public affairs discussions in the local blogosphere.

I don't know that we are blogging so much as we are using blog software to bring OPB content to the web. It is an experiment and as you point out "inconsistent" but we do offer and look forward to reading reader (and, since we are radio, listener) comments on our programs and stories.
And yes I do need to get back on the "Blog Report" as there is much interesting chatter out here in blogland.
