Your Weekly Update
This past week on Portland Charter Review saw only a couple of items, both related to the adoption in 1913 of a new Charter and the commission form of government still used in Portland today.
Amongst the things you can expect to see in the future on Review is a history of past City Club of Portland examinations of Portland's form of government, and (eventually) contributions from Robert Ball, who proposed the 2002 "Good Government" initiative which would have done away with the current commission system in favor of a mayor/council system.
