Some New And Remaindered JTTF Links
Chew On These While We Stop To Breathe
Talk about burnout. We woke up this morning, with this evening's JTTF oversight hearing approaching, and looked back at the past couple weeks of material and found ourselves spectacularly uninterested in writing any more about the subject.
There will be the post-hearing report, of course. But that only comes after what is sure to be several hours of testimony, or at least a healthy few. So for now, as we head out the door to our neighborhood branch office for coffee, we'll pass along the various news articles and blog entries we've come across in the past couple of days (including today) but which we haven't mentioned.
So burnt are we, however, that we're not even going to make sure they are in chonoglogical order. If we're up to it, we'll re-sort them later on.
- Potter JTTF Proposal Goes Before the City Council (OPB)
- Looking into the Spyglass (Willamette Week)
- Chief wants city in FBI force (The Oregonian)
- Delay vote on terrorism task force (The Oregonian)
- Task force vote shows who Potter listens to (The Oregonian)
- Potter and Leonard, Junior G-Men (TomCox)
- B!x has Details, Lacks Big Picture (TomCox)
- JTTF - Jordan Speaks! (smokefilleddoom)
- "There's a reason we don't have a national police force." (New Frames)
We know we had found some others during the day yesterday, but we haven't been able to find them again just yet. But there's plenty of material there (positive, negative, and indifferent to our own positions) for interested readers to spend some time with.

Thanks b!X for posting my link.
I also just posted a rebuttal to S. Renee Mitchell's piece that you linked, "Task force vote shows whom Potter listens to."
