(Updated) Candidates To Go Wild As Editor Gets Drunk
What To Do On Monday Night
Note: This post has been updated. Any and all updates appear at the end of the original post.
Just a quick reminder post that Monday evening brings with it the general election version of Candidates Gone Wild! -- brought to you by Willamette Week, City Club of Portland, and the Bus Project.
This should be your only chance to see Jim Francesconi, Tom Potter, Sam Adams, Nick Fish, David Wu, and Goli Ameri all on stage together, while we wander around drinking and hoping that at the end of it all we might actually manage to recall enough to be able to post a write-up of the evening.
(Last time around, we didn't have all that much to say afterwards, but you never know.)
And, of course, we keep being told that tickets are close to sold out -- so you may be reduced to trying to cajole some out of someone, somewhere. We can't help you with that part. And if you've never made a contribution to PORTLAND COMMUNIQUE, you can come buy us a drink instead. You know you want to.
Update
Idiots that we are, we forgot the most important part, which is that the musical entertainment will be provided by The Minders.

DAMNIT, I forgot to buy tix..... hope they have some left on Monday morn.. I need to get 2... this blows. Hope they are not out.. hope to see you there if I make it, or rather, YOU should hope I see you there, as it would mean a certain free drink for you. The least I can do. I just want to see Wu and Ameri face off... this should be good, Hopefully Wu does not back out after all that has come to "light" due to The Oregonians Jackass move.

I have two tickets for the first respondent willing to drive to John's Landing to get them. I'll be home at 6pm. Price - FREE! I can't make it.
