A Slapdash Local Campaign Update
If Only To Get Baseball Off The Top Slot Here
In no particular order, here are some of the stories from the campaign trail over the past week or so. We've been a little distracted by baseball lately, hence the absence.
There was an OPB News report on the Mayoral race, and the Neighborhood Political Action Committee posted the results of their Mayoral race and City Council race questionaires.
There was more coverage of the PAC controversy in the Mayoral race. Also here.
There were several looks at the Mayoral candidates, including one from The Oregonian, and one from The Business Journal of Portland.
And then there was The Portland Mercury publishing their endorsements, including their "hell freezes over" Mayoral pick (on the same day, since baseball is on the brain, that the NY Daily News used the same headline to describe the end of the ALCS).
We're sure to be missing some articles from the past week or so, and we'll throw them in as updates as we re-find them. For now, this is your abbreviated campaign update. Tomorrow likely will be a no-post day here, since your humble editor has to go off and have a birthday instead.
