Bloglet-Powered Email Updates Broken

This is almost pointless to post, because if you only visit this site when there's something listed in the daily email update via Bloglet, you won't see it. Why? Because for the past several days, Bloglet has decided to stop picking up our feed and sending out emails. Tests from the Bloglet site result in an error claiming, "Unable to connect to the remote server." Which makes no sense, because we're obviously accessible.

So we are actively researching alternatives to Bloglet, since their news and issues sections haven't been updated in ages, and email to their administrator managed simply to bounce back as undeliverable. Thus far, however, we haven't found any alternatives which won't be at least a slight pain to configure.

In the meantime, then, unless Bloglet rights itself, automatic daily email updates of new content posted here are no longer functioning. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I use Dada Mail Pro (a $25 purchase) to send out daily headlines on my site, as I hated dealing with bloglet stuff, too. It's been working great. I've written a semi-tutorial (a bit dated and not perfect) on how to do it here, but e-mail me if you have questions.
