Draft 'Clean Money' Proposal Available Online
Over the weekend, we offered a look at the draft proposal for a Clean Money campaign system here in Portland, an initiative of City Auditor Blackmer and Commissioner Sten.
As indicated earlier today in the comments to that earlier item, the draft report is now available via the City of Portland website.
The proposal will be discussed at a City Council work session in August. In the meantime, see the report link for information about submitting public comment to the City Auditor's office. Included at the same page is an introductory memo regarding the proposal from Mayor Katz.
