Reader Count Trouble
Although they are completely unrelated, this morning we thus far have had a mysterious server crash and discovered that our premium subscription to the service which handles our visitor count expired two months earlier than we thought it was going to, so our displayed visitor count is way, way off (it's now displaying just "hits" rather than "unique hits").
Unfortunately, we're trying to get ready to head out the door here, so there isn't much we can do about those things just now, so everything will have to wait until later.

FYI, the counter issue is my fault for not reading European-style dates properly, having forgotten that the service I use is in Europe. So while I kept thinking I had until August 6 to renew my premium counter, I actually only had until June 8.

If anyone would like to contribute the $12 I need to renew my proper account level at the place we get our visitor stats from, I can get this restored. Otherwise, I have to wait for the money that's slowly transferring to mybank account, which will be another day or two. Hell, I'll even put a "visitor count sponsored by" link next to the visitor stats if such a contributor would want me to do that in exchange.
