(Updated) Another Local Candidate Ad Hits The Airwaves
Commissioner No. 4 Campaign Joins Mayoral Campaign On Television
Note: This post has been updated. Any and all updates appear at the end of the original post.
In last week's campaign round-up, we mentioned in an update that ads for the Jim Francesconi campaign had begun airing on local television stations.
During a quick turn around the dial, we caught the tail end of a spot for the Randy Leonard campaign.
"Yes, he's different," says the ending tagline. "Thank goodness."
So far, these are the only two candidates for which we've seen ads. Anyone spotted any others yet?

On a somewhat related note, I also just caught a Rock The Vote ad on KPTV comparing the numbers of young people who voted for American Idol and the numbers of young people who voted in the last election.

Saw a great lawn sign on NE 33rd tonight: "Pick a Posey."

I caught a spot for Sam Adams the other day... can't remember when... may have been the early AM news.

Rumor has it that Jefff Taylor for Mayor has designs on running TV ads. He sold property to finance his run, but it seems like TV ads would be quite a hail mary pass for him. I also heard whispers of the Jerry Adams campaign wanting to get together an "anybody but Jim" type media campaign, but I doubt the other candidates are with him. I hope the Francesconi ads just highlight the collective distaste for his fat pockets.

As previously-linked in a previous entry, there is this domain, which is registered to the same people behind the Go Potter Go! PAC which recently launched.

As a late entrant to the mayoral race, Dr. Jerry Adams has not been running or proposing an "anyone but Jim" campaign. He is running on his own record of achievement in business, education, and government.
