Same-Sex Marriage Opponents To File Lawsuit Friday Morning
Various newscasts this evening are reporting that the newly-formed Defense of Marriage Coalition will be filing suit against Multnomah County first thing tomorrow morning.
The lawsuit will allege that the Board of Commissioners violated Oregon's law regarding open meetings, request an immediate injunction against the County, seek a reversal of the County's decision, and ask that a ruling be made clarifying that the statutory definition of marriage restricts it to one man and one woman.
Not yet being in the loop as far as news releases out of the Coalition, that's all we know. But we expect to be at the courthouse in the morning and will report back

FYI, not sure just when a report will be posted. I'm supposed to help a friend move tomorrow, and as it is I'm pushing that back an hour in order to make it down to the courthouse.
