Need a break from the unceasing barrage local news intensity? Well, we surely do, at any rate. Fortunately, we've found just the thing.
Tomorrow night at the Crystal Ballroom: The Minders, The Swords Project (unofficial website), The Thermals, and Quasi. Doors open at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at the door (unless they suddenly jack it upwards at the door, which is not an entirely unknown occurrence in this town).
As Willamette Week put it yesterday: "Shows like this are the reason we all live in the soggy, depressing Northwest."
