Mayoral Candidates Talk Business
Further demonstrating that we might not quite be doing enough to connect to the flow of campaign information, a business-related mayoral candidates forum was held on Friday, as reported yesterday in The Oregonian:
City Commissioner Jim Francesconi, businessman James Posey, former Police Chief Tom Potter and mortgage broker Jeff Taylor each took pains to outline at the Columbia Corridor Association forum why they would be best for business.
We won't go into the details here, so you'll have to click through for that. Since events such as this one and the recent African American Alliance forum seem to avoid showing up on any of the campaign websites, and since either announcements of them aren't going out over campaign email lists or we're not on the right lists, perhaps we need to start calling the campaigns every week and asking them what's on the schedule.
