Remember That Thomas Lauderdale Rumor?
Nearly a year ago, both Willamette Week and The Oregonian reported on the alleged Mayoral aspirations of Pink Martini frontman Thomas Lauderdale.
Safe to say that he won't be running this year, since it seems that Pink Martini will be playing an April 16 benefit show at the Roseland for Tom Potter.

I love TL as a musician, but would never vote for him for Mayor. He can't even get a second album done without substantial delay and whining.

uh, the link here to Tom Potter points to a Tom Potter in Toronto Ontario, who grabbed tompotter.com a long time back, but isn't running for Portland Mayor. the website for Portland OR native and former police chief Tom Potter is located at tomformayor.org. Alan is correct that Thomas Lauderdale is not running for Mayor of Portland, either.

What link goes to a Potter in Toronto? The link in the entry above is to the .org domain and not to the .com domain. To what link are you referring?

Oh, nevermind, I saw it. Managed for the first time to use tompotter.org rather than tomformayor.org when putting in the link. Fixed now.
