City Conducts Survey Of Its Handling Of Recent Snow Storm

For those who feel the need, the Portland Office of Transportation (which continues, mysteriously, to call itself PDOT), is running a survey to gather feedback on its handling of the recent snow and ice storm.

"The City of Portland annually prepares and updates a Snow and Ice Plan which guides the city's response during a snow and ice event," says PDOT. "The Plan lays out the strategies, priorities, and operational responsibilities for snow and ice removal activities within the city limits."

Feedback collected is intended to "assist PDOT staff to identify those practices and elements of the plan that worked well," as well as "help to identify those areas that could be improved for the next snow and ice event."

Probably because if it didn't call itself PDOT, it would have to call itself POT, which would likely draw some attention:-)
