Update On 'Communique' Server Connectivity
Current status: Telephone service is restored, but my ISP cannot put the order in to restore my DSL circuit until telephone service has been reconnected for three days -- meaning that order is on hold until Thursday. This likely puts restoration of normalcy here off until some time next week.
In the meantime, since the communique.portland.or.us domain has now been inaccessible for email purposes for more than five days, email to that domain will now be bouncing, rather than spooling for retries, until next week's total restoration, or until I can find someone to play temporary mailhost for that domain, accepting the email and letting me POP it down to my laptop.
Either way, looks for things to return to their original state sometime next week, unless some other peculiar wrench gets thrown into the works.
