To Form A More Perfect Portland

As part of its Insight section, the Portland Tribune is seeking suggestions "on how to make Portland perfect."

Saying they are seeking ideas "both big and small ... from the practical to the whimsical," the paper has selected six categories for the suggestions: parks, traffic, schools, culture, neighborhoods, and business growth.

Click through for submission details, but be prepared to keep your suggestions to around 100 words.

Since the forthcoming elections for both Mayor and City Council next year arguably are the most important ones for defining the direction of the City since I moved here in 1997, I would think it important for Portland residents to take every opportunity they can to weigh in on the discussion.
