(Updated) First Anniversary 'Communique' Meet And Greet Is Sunday Afternoon

Note: This post has been updated. Any and all updates appear at the end of the original post.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the informal meet and greet to mark the first anniversary of PORTLAND COMMUNIQUE, only slightly marred by not being able to have the full and proper site back up in time.

Tomorrow from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, I'll be spending time at the downtown Stumptown Coffee Roasters, located at SW 3rd and Ash. This is, of course, no organized shindig. Just an opportunity for interested parties to hang out, imbibe their Sunday coffee, and maybe talk a little Portland politics.

(Parenthetically, there originally was a plan to self-promotionally offer some PORTLAND COMMUNIQUE merchandise to the first few people who stopped by, but things being what they are, that little attempt at cajoling attendance fell by the wayside.)

Update

Although, if anyone wants to see my little vanity publishing effort, I'll have my copy of PORTLAND COMMUNIQUE: Year One (Volume I) with me. C'mon, you know you want to.

Wish I could be there. Hope this shortest day of the year is filled with many good friends and lots of good fun. (I've already sent for your book, among other Communique stuff.) Happy Anniversary.

Happy Anniversary, Portland Communique! For this right coast denizen, it's informative about what's going on out there. Were I a left coast denizen (say Portland), I'd find it invaluable as the single place where important info about where I live is collected in a fashion that gives me a complete picture. Here's to many more years for the Communique. Portland's lucky to have it.

Well, WWP tried. He breezed through at about 2:30 (but didn't find anyone matching the photograph as published in the Portland Tribune). Hope it was a good time. Happy anniversary to Portland Communique. Many happy returns!

Hmm. I think three or four of us were outside talking murals at around 2:30.
