Creatives To Get Grants From City
Hiding over in the AP wires is this item which may or may not appear in The Oregonian tomorrow:
As part of Mayor Vera Katz's "Creative Economy Initiative," the city on Tuesday announced it will award grants of $750 to attract and retain young artists and entrepreneurs.
They couldn't do this at some point before I managed to get my telephone service disconnected? Well, I suppose PORTLAND COMMUNIQUE is neither art nor entrepreneurship. I suppose chasing money from the City would present something of a conflict of interest.
