The Fat Flakes Of Portland
Yes, it is in fact snowing in Portland. Strangely, in all my years growing up in upstate New York, I don't recall ever seeing flakes running anywhere from two to four inches in length, but that's what we have out there today.
They are so large that if you look straight up into the sky, you can see them for hundreds of feet, swarming like millions of insects. You can actually watch the true long-distance patterns of snowfall.
And here I am working at the bookstore, camera-less, unable to properly document.
