Wither Injunctive Relief?
Still awaiting word, from some quarter or another, on whether or not the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit took any action related to continuing court battle over ballot title language in the upcoming election.
According to Jack Bogdanski, at some point today the County's Elections Division had indeed posted a notice as required under Judge Haggerty's order last Friday:
Just a minute or two ago, the required notice had been posted on the county Elections Division home page. Its placement on the page was a little curious, but it was there. Now it's disappeared.
As of this moment, it continues to be missing. No word on any local news websites, or on Portland IMC, or on mailing lists related to the Oregon Public Power Coalition, as to what might or might not have happened with the appeals court today. So, I guess, we all just continue to wait.
