(Updated) Roll Call Of City Council Members In Attendance At Kendra James Forum

At one point during last evening's Kendra James forum, someone asked why the members of the Portland City Council did not appear to be in attendance, and demanded that they should appear at such events.
Towards the end of the event, Mayor Katz stated that Commissioners Sten and Francesconi had been present for at least part of the forum. I an confirm Sten's presence myself, having seen him there (as well as staffers for both Sten and Francesconi). A staffer confirms that Francesconi was indeed there but "was not able to stay for the whole 5-hour event." Commissioner Saltzman's office says that he was on the "last day of a week long vacation." And I've had confirmation that Commissioner Leonard was not in attendance.
For what it's worth, I'll likely have more from Commissioner Leonard regarding the Kendra James incident later this afternoon. For now, it's time to wrap up my wireless session at Tiny's Coffee and head back home.
Update
Since I have to wait until next week for one of the responses related to this, I'm delaying my follow-up to this item. At the moment, I have statements from the officers of three out of four Commissioners about their attendance or lack thereof, but I might wait to have all four in hand before I post.

Francesconi was there until about 7:30, when I was him talking to one of his staffers then walking out the door.
Excellent coverage of this whole issue here, I truly hope this forum was in fact, "just the beginning".
