A Bit Of Housekeeping Regarding 'Public Involvement' Stories
I'm not sure it's important for me to do this, but just in case there are readers who have been waiting for me to continue my reports from the "constituency discussions" regarding the Citywide Public Involvement Standards Task Force, I should mention what's happening.
Earlier this week, I sat in on the constituency discussion for city staffers. I have something like eight pages of notes, and since they didn't "vote" on what they considered, as a group, to be the top issues (in the way that the Inner SE Neighborhood Associations discussion did), I have to methodically go through and collate these in whatever way will give me a general sense, based on the discussion, of the most important issues city staffers have with public involvement.
So, another report is on its way. This one is just going to take a bit longer to sort out properly. But I expect to have it finished and posted prior to the next two constituency discussions this coming Wednesday.
