Two Days Until 26-48, Continued

I just received a visit from the neighborhood block captain for the campaign to pass 26-48, who is making the rounds of likely supporters making sure they are actually voting.

While he's obviously working friendly territory, he says he is finding more voters than he would like who respond with something along the lines of, "Oh, shit, I keep forgetting to vote." Support around here is strong, but apparently the collective memeory of our political "to-do" lists is not.

Do not forget to turn in your ballots. Despite recents polls such as that from KGW, my neighborhood block captain reports that the measure is polling much closer than they would like. If you haven't filled out or delivered your ballots to a drop site, do so without fail.

This is too important of an election to lose because supporters forget to actually vote.
