Turnout At Approximately 45 Percent
As of noon today, officials at the County Elections office were reporting a 44% turnout thus far, with a fresh batch of ballots arriving which would probably add another percentage point.
Only yesterday, the ballot count was reported as being "just below 38 percent" -- so we've got some voting to do as this afternoon continues. I would imagine many ballots will come in as people are on their commute home after work this evening.
