Jack Peek, Free Speech, and Me
Come join the fray!
Over in these comments, recall activist Jack Peek is accusing me of disparaging, or at least disliking, his free speech rights.
In essence, Peek shows himself to be the quintessential thin-skinned conservative who reserves for himself the rights to truly free speech, but somehow believes that anyone else exercising their own speech rights to criticize Peek isn't merely criticizing what Peek says, but his very right to say it.

To all:
Could not agree more with the perception of me as "wild" an a bit shrill.
Since you researched my work so well, try to find out how many high risk, difficult to place, violent, criminally insane grouphome placements are trully in your neighborhoods. .There not in KATZ'S neighborhood, because they have phone numbers of people in high places that got rid of a federal siting.
The research I have done will fill boxs stacked high about this single issue I started with and when I DID take the softer approach, (I REALLY DID) this important data was round filed by too many electeds and staffers to count. (Jack B. KNOWS ALL OF THIS)
So a stroke about two yrs ago, and the desire to stop a train wreck from happening has taken a toll. Do I feel bad about my percieved persona? Yes! DO I KNOW I'am right to make a point that she (Katz) made promises and didnt keep them ......HELL YES! Is this recall all about me? No! too many people have come into this without much, if any pressure from me for good reasons. So,look past my so called shell, I CARE about this city..... and a lot more then some of you do, because we are "Not the city that works", we are getting worked over, This just isn't that "leading neighborhood wacko" (SAID WWEEK)saying this, You will see that fact soon

The chance to handout flyers to over 1500 plus people was geat, we talked at length with some...even some employees of the city who would like to see us succeed.
Why you have to ask yourself? The reason for many was she doesn't care for folks on the eastside of the river for one.
Her Police department isn't doing a job that meets all folks needs was heard, tax's was a hot topic, schools were a factor. jobs another...... and a very basic one, a lot of people just dont like her.
WHY DOES SHE GET ELECTED ?
The proof comes after election..... then you see who gets what, when the truth really hits home...... there isnt much the common person can do....AND BOY DO THEY KNOW IT.
She dissed me with ..."things like this need to be brought out at election time!", some truth to that except that it takes millions of dollars to kick her rear out.
No it can be done with the stroke of a pen the day after June 6th when we file a recall........ YOU WILL SEND A MESSAGE, to her and future Vera's that in the least, you must represent us all.
Then you cannot do harm to us by poor business in running the city(see our website for details).
If we are successful, we will find and support a candidate, it WILL NOT BE A "NAME RECONIZED CANDIDATE" that would be more if the same.
We are looking at people now...... one thing at a time..... get the mayor out, either by recall, or the pressure of this effort say's she decides to not run. We can deal with both.
We will see if what we saw in the eyes of so many people today holds true. I SURE DIDNT SEE PEOPLE THROWING AWAY OUR HANDOUT!
Get ready Portland.. we are going to take this city back and make it a viable city for both sides of the river. RECALLVER.COM
