Countdown to 26-48
It's almost time. Just around the corner is the critical May 20 Special Election, through which local voters will decide the fate of Measure 26-48, "Three-Year Income Tax For Schools, Human Services, Public Safety."
Ballots are mailed out on May 2 -- that's this Friday. In the meantime, in addition to the above link to the online voters' pamphlet, Multnomah County has established a FAQ page on the measure, which includes links to pdf files detailing various aspects and impacts it will have.
