PBA Mismanages More Money
As if it's not bad enough that the Portland Business Alliance spent all their ice rink money on tree lighting (despite always bitching about how government spends its money), now they are double-billing downtown businesses:
Over the past couple of weeks, about 100 landlords have called the city to complain that although they paid their annual tab in full in August, the PBA billed them again last month. That's a little embarrassing for an organization that has blasted the city's local business tax as "too complex and costly for compliance."
The more arrogant they are, the funnier the fall.
