Get Your War On
I'm a couple hours late on this, of course. I had kept my regular weekly appointment to see Kaitlyn ni Donovan at Conan's Pub, where the television was tuned to CNN Headline News with the closed captioning turned on. I listened to Bush speak via NPR on the pocket radio I had brought along.
Nice of him to finally warn that this could be "longer and more difficult than some predict" -- especially considering that it was his own administration who avoided saying anything remotely close to this prior to this evening.
So, after a trip to Fred Meyer to grab some supplies for tomorrow, I'll see you all in downtown Portland at 4:00 PM (and elsewhere as events warrant). My coverage of the protests will therefore not appear here until later tomorrow night.
