48-Hour 'On Call' Warning
Bush has given Saddam Hussein and his sons 48 hours to leave the country of Iraq. Military action could thus begin at any time over the next two days, since, if the U.S. decides that Hussein moves in some provocative way (readying missiles aimed at Israel or destroying the oil fields, for example), forces arrayed in the region will likely not wait for the deadline to expire.
Therefore, everyone intending to participate in any of the day-of-war events -- protests, direct actions, student strikes, work stoppages -- is now officially on call.
