We're Dark Today
In light of the loss of the space shuttle Columbia, this site will be inactive today. For those who don't know: When I was very, very little, and everyone else was determining that they wanted to be firemen and doctors when they grew up, I wanted to be an outer space moving van driver. The earliest conception of a job I ever had was to help families move into outer space.
So I don't do well during space program disasters.
Normal publishing schedule here will resume tomorrow. In the meantime, there are useful updates and information abuot this Columbia mission at Spaceflight Now, including a weather radar image of the breakup.
