Other Furlough School Plans
Just a brief pointer here. Yesterday's Portland Tribune examines plans for various "furlough schools" and takes a look at some of the issues and obstacles -- including criticism that it's mainly students in well-to-do parts of the city who will be able to attend the makeshift programs.
