Why I Don't Watch Local TV
As Good Day Oregon went to commercial, attempting to tease us into remaining around for the next segment:
Even dogs are showing the patriotic spirit, as the country prepares for a possible war!
No editorial judgement was involved on my part in placing an exclamation point at the end of that sentence. Of all punctuation, it indeed reflects the breathless excitement with which the line was delivered.
