'Oregonian' on Monahan Story

Catching up with a leftover item, we have a column by Steve Duin from yesterday's Oregonian on the Nicholas Monahan story:

Since the day before Christmas, concerned citizens have been e-mailing me Nicholas J. Monahan's account of his October adventures at Portland International Airport.
Monahan was arrested at PDX early the morning of Oct. 26 and charged with disorderly conduct after a confrontation with the federal security screeners. He was released in less than two hours and banned from the airport for 90 days, an exclusion that was lifted two weeks later after Monahan wrote a letter of complaint to the Port of Portland.

Duin then goes on to detail the now-infamous Monahan rant and its popularity on the Web. He also speaks with Monahan himself, and representative from some of the various agencies involved in the incident.

The past couple of days have seen hits to this site from inside The Oregonian offices, coming in from Google searches for Monahan information -- well after the story would have already been filed, as far as I know. I suppose random staffers were looking for more information after seeing the column.
