Popping the Cherry
And so here we are, at last. Two years after first attempting to register the geographically-based domain name I desired, and after two interim incarnations without said domain, this Portland-centric weblog project of mine is finally underway for real.
Having now lived here in Portland for 5 1/2 years, I must possess, somewhere, enough of a sense of connection to the place to begin posting items about it on a regular basis. That's what this site is for. Here I will range from architecture and design, to city politics and local activism, to random snippets of overheard conversation.
As long as it relates to Portland, it belongs.
